

Victor was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Jovita, whom he married on April 30, 1972. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and faith.
He worked as an offshore welder for over 30 years, dedicating himself to his craft with strength and pride.
Outside of work, Victor was an active member of the Santa Cecilia Choir, the Knights of Columbus Council 7532, and Los Abuelitos de Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
Victor had a deep passion for life. He loved traveling, photography, music, and especially singing and dancing with his daughters. The ocean brought him a special kind of peace and joy that stayed with him throughout his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, José Ramón Alcocer Gómez and Blanca Espinosa del Río, as well as his siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jovita Alcocer; his children, Maria del Rosario Peña (Pedro Pena), Victoria Sanchez, Cynthia Diane Alcocer, Jovita Michelle Vara, Ramon Alcocer, and Victor Alcocer Jr.; and his cherished grandchildren, Jacob Vara, Arianna Vara, Aidan Vara, Starla Sanchez, Luna Sanchez, Isabella Peña, and Pedro Peña Jr.
Victor will be remembered for his warmth, his love of family, and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003, on April 20, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary Service at 7p.m.
A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003, on April 21, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, followed by a Committal Service at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023, on April 21, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
