When he was six years old, he and his family moved to Houston. Victor grew up there, where he attended Sam Houston High School and the University of Houston. At the age of 18, Victor began working for Brown and Root Industrial Services, which gave him the foundation of his career. In 1986, Victor established his business, C.C. Hunter Inc., a provider of steel fabrication, erection and concrete services in the Houston region.
Victor is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sherry; his twin daughters, Kately Annie and Molly Sothea; his son, Hunter Christopher; as well as four sisters, Patsy (Robert) McElroy, Dixie Cauble Medford, JoAnne (Michael) McMeans, and Linda (Michael) Brummerhop.
He was predeceased in death by his daughter, Tracy Winston, his father Hershel "T" Cauble, and his mother, Norma Ruth Atkinson Foreback. Victor loved to fish and hunt and had a sense of humor that everyone enjoyed. When asked how he was doing, his frequent comment was, "Another day in paradise." Now he is in paradise.
The Celebration of Life to honor Victor T Cauble will be held at 10:00 AM on June 7, 2025, at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Houston, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to River Place Connection, a ministry for recovery, P.O. Box 774, Abingdon, VA 24212, or to Molly Cauble for the Cambodian Temple.
