I'm always talking about Victor and Victors restaurant. I'll always remember his smile and him sitting at the end of the bar taking in all the action. He knew everyone's name who came in on a regular basis. The margaritas were the BOMB!!!!   Gone but not forgotten.

I have many happy memories of my friendship with you eating at the restaurant, talking about our lives.  Very special years and so long ago.  

Jon. Todd, Chad and I ate at Victor's so many times after football games in the 1970s and 1980s while Jon and Todd were at Mayde Creek High.  And of course we revisited several times since.  Victor always was so friendly and remembered all of us by name.  His was our "go to" Mexican restaurant for a very long time.  He will be missed.  RIP Victor!  You were awesome!

Victor is a legend in Katy. We have been here since 1988 and always gathered at Victors with my sister’s family on Friday nights. It was the place to be. Victor was always warm and welcoming, the food incredible and the margaritas perfect. So many memories over the years. He will live on in his sons and grandkids. His smile will be enteral. We are in prayer with you all.

Condolences for the the family, he will be greatly missed.  Victor had an infectious smile and always made you feel welcome.  My family spent many years eating at Victors.  Prayers for you all and our community lost a great one!  

My wife and myself and our 2 young daughter's used to drive from Spring Branch to Katy to eat at Victor's Casa Garcia on Fry Road. Then we moved to Katy and continued to enjoy Victor's Restaurant through the years.  Fate would have it's way when and our oldest Daughter  Krissy  was in High School started dating and than later married Victor's eldest son, Juan.   We have many  fond memories visiting Victor's Casa Garcia Restaurant  and shared many birthday celebrations in the  "Banquet Room".  Victor always greeted you with you a huge smile and would engage in pleasant conversations with us and all the guests.  Katy has lost a real icon and will be missed by many. 
 Prayers to Gloria, Juan, Victor Jr. and their extended families.

Victor graciously hosted many Tiger fans before and after football games! My group has been going there since 1999. Some years our group numbered 8-10, other years closer to 30-35. One year we even had 50! He and his staff, Cruz(RIP) and Richard and others always always accommodated us!  Many good memories there. Celeste, you and your family have our deepest sympathy. We were so saddened to hear of Victor’s passing. Our entire family has such wonderful memories of Victor and Victor’s Casa Garcia. In the late 80’s our Friday routine after work was heading to Victor’s (we always just called it Casa!) then to Walmart for our weekly shopping. We would go to the Fry Rd. and Saums location then when they opened the one further down Fry Rd. we began going there. We celebrated many family events there. 
Victor was always so welcoming and we loved the food. Victor will definitely be missed.

Celeste and family, I am so saddened to hear about your brother. We knew Victor over 30 years! We started going to Casa Garcia when my oldest son who is almost 31 was a baby at the location in the strip center on North Fry.  Victor's was our families favorite Mexican restaurant.  We had many celebrations there: birthdays,  baby showers, engagement parties etc. I was sad when the North Fry location closed. Victor always knew my name and asked about my family.  Love to you all. ❤️

My sister-in-law Jennifer Dural "Netardus" messaged me the news of Victors passing.  He was a patient of mine at Methodist Continuing Care for Physical Therapy.  My heart is so sad to hear the news of his passing, as I prayed for his recovery to return to his amazing family and to enjoy his golden years.  As I got to know Victor I learned what a kind nice man he was and imagined all his hard work running a business, and caring for his family.  I realized how strong of a man he was as he fought to stay alive.   My family have many fond memories at his restaurant on Fry Rd, Birthdays, Baptismal parties.  I mentioned to Victor how I would play with my nieces when they were little on his restaurants playground, how they would laugh as I would spin them on tire swing.  So many memories as the kids got older so Victor played a part in my families precious moments that I will never forget.  RIP now Victor you are a Great Man!

  


We moved to Katy in 1985 and spent a  lot of time in the original strip center location on Fry rd at Franz.  We went almost every weekend and sometimes during the week too. He had a pretty good staff equally motivated to serve the customers. We were treated like special guests knowing name and name children. My favorite trick when they saw my car pull into the parking lot, My  margarita was perfectly prepared and delivered to my table by the time I actually reached table, my drinking for waiting on me. Condolences to his family left to carry on. He will be missed! 😢 

Victor was always so personable and friendy. He knew how to do restaurant right. He was good to the community. He had the best enchilada’s if anyone as well as the best Tortilla soup. Things were just never the same without Victor.

Victor was an outstanding individual. His fajitas and chili con queso is the best we ever had. He sponsored my Katy youth football team and always called me pelon! We celebrated many special occasions at the restaurant. My wife’s 60th birthday and sons engagement party in the back room. His margaritas were the best. Condolences to his family members who know us well. He is truly misses🙏

Wow, so sorry to hear of Victor’s passing. He was a fixture in my life from a young age. I cannot remember a time in my life without Victor’s Casa Garcia being the go to place. From sponsoring our youth sports teams, hosting birthday parties (my mom’s surprise 60th was one to remember!), to being the place I proposed to my wife in front of my family and hers (who drove 5+ hours to be there), his restaurant was the place to be and he was the guy to see (even if my dad constantly asked for free stuff only to be turned down every time!). The one request every time we visited my parents in Katy was to eat at Victor’s, and it never disappointed. Here’s to the man who made the best fajitas, queso, and margaritas I and anybody else I’ve taken there has had, but more importantly a man with whom I share many fond memories! A legend for sure. Rest in peace and prayers to the family.

Victor was truly an icon and one amazing person. We loved him and the restaurant family he created. We had many birthdays, baby showers, and just family dinners with him and the restaurant. We met Victor at the resturant location Fry @ Saums 1985ish.  There was a group of us (all young families in the fire department together).  Through all the years Victor always asked about our kids as they grew and had their own families, he was honestly interested!  I have missed seeing Victor in the resturant, and will cherrish all the time & events we got to share.  GOD blessed us with Victor.  Praying GOD blesses Victor now that he has gone home.

I’m so saddened to hear this news and have so many amazing memories from the Fry rd. locations (in the Randall’s center and then his independent location closer to I-10). We celebrated many happy hours & birthdays there! Couldn’t get enough of those peaches in tequila he kept in the BIG jar on the bar. Best things ever! I am so very sorry for your loss. My oldest daughter was telling me a couple of months ago how she went up to the strip mall location with the Adam’s family (our neighbors) and helped set up chairs before it opened. He and his restaurant have been in our lives ever since. I moved to Colorado years ago but always made sure of going to eat at Victor’s with family. He always called me by name and asked how things were going. He will sorely be missed. R.I.P. Victior and know that you were loved by all who knew you.

My wife and I were sad to hear of Victor's passing.  He always greeted us at the front door by name and warm handshake.  He knew exactly what we were going to have to drink and made sure we were well taken care of as he did with all of his guests.   We went to Victors for 20+ years and I can remember Juan working behind the bar and telling us his plans to open another restaurant on his own.  I will always have fond memories of Victor and I know Juan and his family will carry on the tradition that Victor created.  Rest in peace my friend!

💖🙏Victor was so special to our family and our extended family, the Elders and the Robinsons. He knew all of us by name and our daughters loved him & so did we. Everyone loved Victor & considered him a friend. 💖Our girls grew up going to Victors and there were many birthdays celebrated there in our family, anniversaries,  reunions for family & high school friends, wedding and baby showers, special classmate & school events & organizations, and the list goes on and on.  It was a favorite gathering place & always fun. Victor not only supported the Katy ISD FFA but he supported the LD Robinson scholarship that benefits the students in the FFA. He supported our daughters with their FFA projects and also sponsored our daughter in numerous pageants. He had an incredible ability to remember everyones name and everyone considered him a friend. He was a true FRIEND & will be greatly improved missed. Victor was a joy and blessing to know! May God provide his family with peace and surround them with his love

So sorry to hear this news.  So many years of going to all of the locations as i started going and was in a high chair at the highway 6 location.  All the great support towards FFA was a blessing and he was always there to support everyone.  We certainly miss going to the most recent location as he held true to his original recipes and always there to greet you with a smile. My condolences to the Garcia family. I have many fond memories of lunches and dinners at the Fry Rd and Saums location. Our children grew up eating there and always enjoyed the family atmosphere.
