Victor G. Gurrola, born September 17, 1926 passed away May 30, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cruz and Sophia Gurrola; son, Joseph Gurrola; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Gurrola; brothers, Steve and Sam Gurrola; sister Josephine Gurrola. Victor will be greatly missed by his wife of 66 years, Chevy Gurrola; sons, Victor Gurrola and wife Mary Ann, Martin Gurrola; daughter, Jane Gurrola; 5 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren; brother, Martin Gurrola and wife Mary; sisters, Mary Ybarra and husband Tom, Janie Arnold and husband Jerry, Rebecca Wilson and Estella Rivera and husband Ray, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Brookside Funeral Home with a rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00am Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at St. Gregory the Great Church, 10500 Nold Rd., Houston TX. 77016. Rite of Committal will be at Brookside Memorial Park.
