Violet Hermiz

Violet D. Hermiz, 71, died suddenly but peacefully in her sleep at her home in Kingwood, Texas on November 2, 2016. Violet was a devoted and loving mother and extremely proud Nana to her 2 grandchildren. There was nothing more important to her in the world than her family. Violet’s family extended much further than her blood relatives since so many people that once considered her a stranger now call her a mother, sister, or an aunt. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Violet is the wife of the late George E. Hermiz, mother to Robert Hermiz, Arthur Hermiz and wife Jennifer, David Hermiz and wife Tera; Nana to Riley Hermiz and Marisa Hermiz. She is sister to the late Melida Babakhan, the late George Isaac, Fahima Aywaz, Sandra Baba, the late Emmanuel Mar-Yohana, Juliet Shabo, and Sargon Isaac.

There will be a viewing on Monday, November 7th, 2016 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home located at 12800 Westheimer Rd in Houston Tx, 77007. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will then follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to Assyrian American Association of Houston in memory of Violet Hermiz. Please remit all donations to 4915 Canyon Sage Lane, Katy, TX 77494.
