Virginia was born on February 22,1933 in Houston, Texas. She grew up in the Heights with her parents and sister Betty. Her family had a farm in Hempstead with horses, which she loved, as well as owning the "Heights Movie Theatre" which she spent many hours there with her beloved cousins. She married her High School Sweetheart in 1951 just one week after graduation and had 5 children. After her divorce in 1963, she continued to raise her children on her own for 13 years in Pasadena Texas. In 1975 Virginia started writing a man from Wisconsin, he came for a visit to meet her & the family & they continued to write letters & chat on the phone. They fell in love and got married on May 7, 1977. Dennis and Virginia were married for 38 years at the time of her passing.
Although Virginia was a tomboy at heart, she was full of love for her friends and family. She spent many hours admiring her plants and flowers as well as the many hummingbirds that would visit on her back porch. She loved to travel, and take lots of photos and videos. She loved Jehovah very much and was faithful to him right to the end.
Virginia passed away with her 2 daughters right by her side and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Edwin and
Helen Ettamae Wygant; and her daughter Lisa Lynn Entrekin. Virginia is survived by her loving husband Dennis L.
