She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Roland T. Jackson. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Linda Kay Jackson and her husband, William F. Mosley; granddaughter, Catherine T. Elkins and her husband, Patrick L. Elkins; grandson, Dr. William B. Kurtz, II and his wife, Dr. Emily Kurtz; and great grandchildren, Claire, Christian and Caroline Kurtz.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, the 22nd of September at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive, in Houston. A private burial will be conducted at a later date in Madisonville.
In lieu of the customary remembrances, the family requests, with gratitude, that any memorial contributions in Virginia’s memory are to be directed to Research, Alzheimer’s Association, 6055 South Loop East, Houston, Texas 77087-1005.
