

Vivian was a widow who loved God and her family dearly. She loved cooking and baking, especially banana nut bread and fried chicken. Vivian used her talents in the kitchen by working for many years supporting her brother, Bishop W.I. Parten, to feed the children and members of several churches.
Vivian leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Thomas I. Mouser and wife Angela, Francis Flowers, grandchildren: Terry Hayles and wife Denise, Charlotte Ralph and husband Brian, Paul Hayles and wife Brenda, Stephanie Taylor, Brian Olinger, Stanley Flowers Jr., Stephanie Reed, Holly Morgan, Austin Flowers, Trace Flowers, Jonathan Flowers, Matthew Flowers and many great grandchildren, siblings: Clarice “Kitty” Foresman, Willa Dean Goodman, Johnny Parten, Esther Ross, Virginia Seals, Margaret Williams she also leaves behind a host of loving relatives and forever faithful friends.
Vivian is preceded in death by her son, John David Mouser, daughter, Dessie Ann Howard, son-in-law, Stanley Flowers, brothers: W.I. Parten and his wife Hazel, James Parten, sisters: Mildred Hollingshead, Billie Jean Morgan.
The family will receive visitors on January 18, 2017 at Brookside Funeral Home from 5 pm to 8pm. A funeral service will take place at Brookside Funeral Home on January 19, 2017 at 1 pm followed by the internment, at Brookside Memorial Park.
