W. Clyde Hood went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2016. He was born on December 9, 1930 in Stringtown, Oklahoma to parents Wesley Clyde Hood Sr. and Mildred Province Hood. Clyde served in the U. S. Navy and was a life committee member with the Houston Livestock Stock and Rodeo; with his great sense of humor, Clyde was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 64 ½ years, Audrey; children: Michael Hood, Wesley Hood and his wife Gelita and Suzanne Domin and her husband Craig; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephew and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home Family Chapel, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home in the Family Chapel followed by a burial in Brookside Memorial Park and Cemetery.
