Waitee Smith

Waitee Guice Smith was born to Gerves Guice, Jr. and Eleanor Elizabeth Guice on January 24, 1966, in Houston, Texas. Her parents preceded her in death. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Warren C. Smith on May 30, 1987; one child was born to this union, Stedman D. Smith.

Waitee was baptized and accept Christ at an early age at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Her Christian journey ended as a new Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church member, where she served in the Media Ministry.

She graduated from Forest Brook Senior High School in 1984 and spend her junior and senior years in the North Forest Vocational Education program. She began her career as an administrative assistant within the Harris County Appraisal District. She had other job roles and ended her career as a customer data analyst with Summer Energy. She received the Employee of the Year Award.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of thirty-six years, Warren C. Smith, and son, Stedman D. Smith (Kalyn); two sisters, Valerie Williams (Trent) and Michelle Johnson; Goddaughter, Nichelle Singleton; aunt, Renee Morse; in-laws, Lawrence and Helma Smith; sister-in-law, Paula L. Smith; brother-in-law, Wesley E. Smith (Nikki), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
