Dr. Wale Folorunsho Oshin, 48, of Cypress, Texas, returned to his heavenly home on Wednesday August 12, 2020 after a valiant battle with a brief illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his fight and ultimately gave him peace.
Wale Oshin was born July 23, 1972 in Lagos, Nigeria to late Engr. Adekunle Isaiah and Mrs Olusola Oshin. He was raised with Christian values and beliefs at an early age, which molded his service mindset till his death. He attended Abati Nursery and Primary School, Lagos for his primary education and Nigerian Model High School, Lagos for his secondary education. He then proceeded to Nigeria’s premier university, the University of Ibadan, where he earned his medical degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). He also had a postgraduate medical degree at Texas Tech University.
“Uncle Doctor” as he was fondly called, was a devout Christian who served in the Lord’s vineyard faithfully. He served in various Christian Medical Missions helping the less privileged with medical advice and support.
Wale was an excellent care-giver at heart. He was kind and soft-spoken, and always had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how small. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.
Wale is survived by his wife, Lilian; his daughters Zoe and Darasimi; his son Isaac; his brothers and sisters and his mother Olusola. He is preceded in death by his father, Adekunle Isaiah Oshin.
Wale will be buried at the Memorial Oak Cemetery at 11:00 a.m on August 28 2020. The family gratefully declines flowers, but prayers, condolences and donations are gladly accepted at https://gf.me/u/yqr7ub
