He will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving father, dedicated working man,
and an avid golfer. His sarcastic sense of humor will never be forgotten by anyone that knew him.
Lee graduated from Northshore High School in 1965. He was a proud US Navy Veteran, serving from
1966-1971. During his service, he was deployed to Vietnam aboard the USS Coral Sea.
Lee married Peggy Guy and they had two children, Carrie and Denver.
After the Navy, Lee spent 30 glorious years at Craven Carpet, Inc. where he built lifelong friendships.
Walter Lee Craven is survived by his daughter, Carrie Middleton (spouse Ernest Middleton), son Denver Craven, brother Ed Craven, grandchildren Ashley Craven and Andre Burton, great grandchild Aubree Rodriguez, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by both parents Ralph Craven and Daisy Kazee.
