Walter Thomas Whitt, 84, entered into eternal rest on December 19, 2020 in Houston, Texas. He was born February 2, 1936 in Anderson, South Carolina. Walter worked and retired as a Houston City Marshall for many years.
Walter is preceded in death by his parents John and Birdie Whitt, wife Barbara Ann Whitt, and son Walter Whitt, Jr. Left to cherish his loving memory, children: Mark Whitt and wife Kay, Russell Whitt and wife Lydia, John Whitt and wife Dianna, along with 9 grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 1pm with the funeral service beginning promptly at 2pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Houston Hospice.
