My kids have all spoken to me of Warren as such a nice kid, which is saying a lot from childhood contemporaries. He influenced the lives of those around him for the better, and I know my kids were grateful to have known him. I can't really offer any words that could comfort, but know that the Moores love you and are praying for you.

It's difficult to move on when we've lost a loved one, especially a child, but we have memories that no one can take away, memories that will bring a smile and ease the pain and sorrow.  May the loving support of friends and family help you through this difficult time.

While having lived away these past years, I still have many precious memories of Warren.  I am thankful for those memories of him learning, caring, energetic, curious, and determined.  I truly believe there is something God and him want us to know.  I know it would not have meant him departing from us to find it, and so my heart grieves as I know yours does.  Yet God knows every tear, every longing, every memory, every emotion, and is with the Barfield's and all of us who love him so.  I do believe his life still lingers in our thoughts and hopes even now.  I hope those who did not know him know what joy he brought in our lives - near or far.

the tribute to Warren at his "celebration of life" service today was the most poignant i've ever attended. Pastor Matt delivered the most thought provoking eulogy for an outstanding young man that was beyond the call of duty. God bless the Barfield family.

No words can express the sadness I feel for you all. Warren has always held a special place in our family's heart. Jackson was new to SBS and him and Warren became instant friends while Jackson directing trucks on playground "Back it up". Those two freckled faced little boys were two peas in a pod and brought our families together. We love you all and grieve with you. He was taken way too soon but made an enormous impact on so many in the short time here.

I was saddened to hear of the death of Warren. I remember him fondly as one of my students at Rummel Creek. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
