

WARREN JOHNSON, II was born the eldest son to Warren and Vivian Johnson, of Houston, Texas on June 19, 1983. He was given the nickname, “Ace” before birth. Ace associated himself with KING SOLOMON, and on September 7, 2020, he departed this life with a deeper affection of love to share, wisdom beyond his years, and wanting the best for everyone and without compromise. Ace accepted Christ into his life and was baptized by Rev. A. D. Norton of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He was a young stout man with a thoughtful and loving heart, an appreciation for life, love for traveling and a funfilled free spirit. Ace was known to share his faith and belief in God.
In May 2003, Ace graduated from James Madison High School. After graduation, he attended ITT Technical Institute, studying Computer Engineering Technologies. He went on to study coding at Houston Community College, and then found better opportunities becoming a truck driver, where he worked for a number of industries including Batesville Casket Company, William Brothers Construction and the Houston Independent School District. Ace recently received his certificate for Logistics from Houston Community College.
Ace’s quiet demeanor was sometimes mistaken for him being shy, but in reality, he enjoyed talking and spreading positivity with his family and friends. He enjoyed telling jokes and laughter, and would often be found with a very heartwarming smile that would lift spirits. He especially loved family gatherings and spending time with his niece and nephews. Other nicknames for Ace were “Ace Man”, “Big Man”, “Big Guy”, “Tim Swatskin”, and “Akahai Kanaka Nunui”.
Some of Ace’s other interests were camping, computer gaming, cars and traveling. He participated in community service activities with the Houston Chivers, and the Student Government Association and Men of Honor at the Houston Community College, Southeast Campus.
Ace is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Charles White (maternal) and Alvin Johnson, Jr. (paternal). He is survived by his parents, grandmothers, Jessie White (maternal) and Beverly Johnson (paternal); his brothers and sisters: Jason Johnson (Victoria); LaTasha Lee (Kevia); Bryan Irving; Kellee Irving; Sysesha Johnson; and Donte’ Johnson; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles and a host of family and friends.
