Wayne D. Beasley

Wayne De Forest Beasley, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Wayne was born in Lamesa, Texas on February 19, 1924. He served in the U.S. Navy between 1943 and 1945, during WWII. Wayne lived a full life, enjoying gardening and fishing. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lela Beasley Webb, Father Arnold Beasley, and wife Nellie Beasley.

He is survived by his children Linda Burrell and husband Larry, Donna R. Taylor and husband Don, Connie Boyd, Gay Nelle West and husband Mark, Wayne Beasley II, and sister in law Dinky Beasley. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and twenty two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Advantage Howard Glendale Funeral Chapel, 1015 Federal Rd. Houston, Texas 77015. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Advantage Howard Glendale Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery 14659 East Freeway Houston, Texas 77015.
