Our father, Wayne, was very proud of his service in the United States Air Force during WWII and ,was honored to serve his country.
He was awarded the "Distinguished Flying Cross" for his many successful missions in Europe and the Invasion of Normandy.
He was a tail gunner on the B-24 Liberator named "Corky" and, was the last surviving crew member.
We'll miss you Pops! Gig em Aggies!
