Weston "Wes" A. Maynard

Weston Maynard, 69, passed away February 15, 2014, in Houston, Texas. He was born in Marfa, Texas, on October 10, 1944. Wes graduated from Spring Branch High School, Houston Texas in 1963, after which he joined the United States Air Force. He subsequently attended school at the University of Houston having attained his degree in Business Administration. Wes’ passion was the Spring Branch/ Memorial Alumni Foundation of which he was the President. He enjoyed woodworking and had a woodworking shop in his garage and was a member of the Woodworkers Club of Houston. He loved and played Fantasy Baseball for a number of years. He loved spending time with all of his grandchildren-watching them play sports, watching them grow, and just visiting with them.

Wes is survived by his wife of 39 years, Anna Rosenberg Maynard; children, Scott Maynard and wife Jennifer, Lee Pamuk and wife Venesa, Lori Pamuk McPhate and husband Douglas; brother, Jim Maynard; grandchildren, EmmyKate and Easton Maynard, Coleman, Mason, Sutton, Ellis and Archer Pamuk, Dustin McPhate and wife Codie, Bailey and Corbin McPhate; great grandson, Boone, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, February 17, 2014 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Brookside Funeral Home Grand Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
