

William Wesley Hunnicutt III, age 84, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011. He was born on February 19, 1927 to William Wesley Hunnicutt Jr. and Sybil Butler in Marlin, TX. He spent his life working in the field of engineering. He also served his country during WWII and was a member of St. Stephen’s Methodist Church. He was also a devoted member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star. He was Past Worshipful Master of East Bernard Lodge No. 817 AF&AM, Member Oak Forest Lodge No. 1398 AF&AM, Member of Will N Kidd Chapter 424 RAM and San Jacinto Council 347 R&SM, Present and Past Patron of Oak Forest Chapter No. 1080 O.E.S.
He is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Hunnicutt, his son Russell Wayne Hunnicutt, his parents William Hunnicutt and Sybil Butler, his sister Pearle Shryock.
He is survived by his daughter Donna Davis and Debra Crowley; grandchildren Staci Davis and Bart Davis and his wife Kimberly Davis; great grandchildren Emma Davis and Zachary Smith; his sister Mary Price; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, August 14th from 3-5 pm at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15th at 11 am in the Chapel of Pat H. Foley Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Horton presiding. Interment will follow at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Marlin, TX. In lieu of flowers, please honor his memory to The Eastern Star Oak Forest Chapter No. 1080 O. E. S.
