Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

Willie David Anderson, 86, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025. Born on December 2, 1938, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Willie lived a full and meaningful life marked by dedication, perseverance, and a deep love for his family.

A hardworking man by nature, Willie devoted himself to providing for those he loved and carried a quiet strength that inspired everyone around him. Beyond his work, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures — especially fishing and playing dominoes — earning from his family the affectionate nicknames “Superman” and “Domino King.”

Willie is survived by his wife, Merilyn Anderson; daughter Rhonda Anderson; siblings Patricia Williams, Lucille Hills, and Robert Anderson; grandchildren Flora Hill (Curtis), Natalie Anderson, and Nicole Easley (Michael); along with a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, blended family, and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his mother Edna Anderson; former wife and mother of his daughter, Dorothy Anderson; and siblings Authur Lee Anderson, Harold Anderson, Alfred Ray Anderson, Claudette Carter, and Mary Anderson Scott.

Willie will be remembered for his unwavering spirit, his devotion to family, and the countless lives he touched with kindness and love.

A visitation for Willie will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paradise Funeral Home Chapel, 10401 W. Montgomery Rd. Houston, Texas 77088. A celebration of will immediately follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The committal service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Paradise Cemetery North, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088.
