Wilma Evelyne Widaski

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd, of 45 years, her brother Frank and sisters, Shelia and Patti Jo.

She attended St. Agnes Academy and Sacred Heart Dominica College. She taught for over 25 years at St. Peters the Apostle, Queen of Peace, St. Augustine and First Christian Schools. She was a member of the Boy Scouts of America for over 25 years. She earned the Scout Masters Wood Badge beads, being one of the first ladies to go through this training in Houston. She received the District Award of Merit, St. George and Bronze Pelican religious awards, and the Silver Beaver award.

She loved raising her children, and attending all the activities of her grandchildren, and the many games of Phase Ten she played with them.

She is survived by her sons Michael and Grace, David, Christopher and Rebecca; daughter Colleen and Tony Ashford; grandchildren David Jr, Amy, Jennie, Michele, Elizabeth, Brandon, Megan, Alex, Michael and Justin; great-grandchildren Micah, Lyn Elise, Audrey, Sophia, Emily, Ethan, Dylan and Logan.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, October 17, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm with the rosary being recited at 6:00 pm in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 6646 Addicks Satsuma Road, Houston, Texas 77084 with the Rite of Committal immediately following.
