Winifred A. Delaney

Winnie was a remarkable woman who touched so many lives over the course of her life. She lit up the room with her laughter and her smile. Her family and Catholic faith were the most important things in her life. She is lovingly remembered by all who knew her, and will truly be missed.

Winnie was preceded in death by her husband James F. Delaney and brothers Larry Mumm and Robert Mumm. She is survived by her seven children Mary Mendoza, James F. Delaney Jr, Brian Delaney, John Delaney and wife Barbara, Joanne Delaney, Candace Jackson and husband Barry, Patrick Delaney and wife Kari, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, brother Donald Mumm , sister Ann Mara and many nieces and nephews.

Her family wishes to thank Grace Care Cypress, Compassionate Care Hospice, Betty Guzman and Elsa Sotomayor for their wonderful care.

Visitation and Rosary will be held from five until seven PM on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at ten thirty AM on Monday, August 30, 2010 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, Texas 77079.

Immediately following the service, all are invited to join the family for a reception to be held in the adjacent St. Jude Hall.

Interment to follow at one thirty PM at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
