Jerry and I were next door neighbors when we were children in Brooklyn.  His parents, grandparents, his brother Alvin and sister Pat were like family to us. He
 became a life long friend who I 
will miss very much.

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Beetz.  I have been his nurse and have taken care of him for a couple of years now at the hospital, and he was one of my favorite patients to take care of. He was one of the most lively, spirited, and upbeat people that I have ever met, and I felt like I had a good relationship with him. He will truly be missed. R.I.P Mr. Beetz. My prayers go to his entire family. He was a great man.
