

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony (Boog) James Salvatore on September 3, 2024, at the age of 27. Anthony was a cherished resident of Greeley, Colorado with much of his life in Modesto.
Born on February 11, 1997, in Oakdale, California, Anthony was a free spirit who embraced adventure and the great outdoors. Whether he was working on a farm in the outdoors, scaling high-rise skyscrapers as a window cleaner in Seattle, working as an arborist, or a diesel mechanic, Anthony’s interests were as varied as his talents. Anthony’s heart was his family and the traditions that brought us all closer. Anthony was also a gifted musician, proficient in guitar and piano, and enjoyed skateboarding. His vibrant life, though cut short, was filled with passion and energy.
Anthony leaves behind his mother, Kathy Salvatore (Riverbank), and her fiancé, Pablo Zeiter; his father, John Vito Salvatore (Modesto), and his wife, Stephanie; his sister, Danielle Salvatore (Capitola), and her husband, Colin Cassady; stepsister Lacey Madden and stepbrother, Jake Asher. He also leaves behind his dear grandmother, Sugar Plum, Waneta Hillard (Riverbank); grandfather Jeff McKimmie (Calistoga) and wife Penny, and his grandparents, Carmen and Brenda Salvatore (Manteca), along with uncles Christopher, Joseph, Vincent and Carmen and Auntie, Amber. He also leaves behind cousins Michael, Carmine and Gino, Miranda and Lily. Sadly, he leaves behind his love Malia Clark (Greeley) their beloved dog, Kaya, and cat, Stevie. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bob Hillard, and his older brother, Paul Raphael Salvatore.
A funeral service will be held on September 20, 2024, at 11:00am at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, California. Following the service, a celebration of Anthony’s life will take place at Papapolloni Mediterranean Bistro, 2501 McHenry Avenue, Modesto, California.
