Bennie Vincent Bonora

Bennie Vincent Bonora, 90, of Modesto, Ca., passed away March 2, 2015. Bennie was born to Bernardo and Emma Bonora on February 26, 1925 in Stockton, Ca. He graduated from Escalon Union High School in 1943. While attending Escalon High School, Bennie met the love of his life, Jeanne Marie Beckwith. They were married May 13, 1944.Bennie and Jeanne lived in Escalon until moving to Dixon, Ca. in 1955. They moved to Modesto in 1963. Bennie made his living as a farmer and trucking business owner, but farming was his real love. He had a vineyard, grew peaches and farmed row crops. Bennie is survived by his wife of almost 71 years, Jeanne; his sons Craig (Linda) of Denair, Ca., Christopher (Sherry) and Daniel of Modesto; grandchildren Josette (Bill) Adams, Anthony (Chenin) Graesch, Nicole (Terry) Bonora, Jason (Stacy) Bonora, Benjamin (Carly) Bonora, Nicholas (Michelle) Bonora,Christine Bonora; and eleven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Geraldine (Elio) Chiappe of Carmel, Ca. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson, on Monday, March 9th, 2015 at 10am. Graveside service immediately following.
