Beryl LaVaughn (Carraway) Crook

Beryl LaVaughn (Carraway) Crook, age 83 passed away on Monday June 29, 2020. Beryl was born October 20, 1936 in Modesto, California. She was the second of six children born to Dorothy Carraway and Wayne Carraway.

Beryl was the co-owner and bookkeeper of the family business, Big Valley Movers Inc., with her husband Tom Crook. She was a member of the Woodland Avenue Fire Department Women's Auxillary & Muster Team. She also volunteered at Doctor's Medical Center as a "Pink Lady". Beryl enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She like to be in her garden, go camping and pool parties.

Beryl is survived by; daughter Debra Parnell; son Dennis Crook (Denise); son Dayle Crook (Susan); and daughter Deana Meek; brother Ryann Carraway, brother Lynne Carraway, brother Verne Carraway, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Beryl was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Crook; son Derick Crook, son-in-law Cliff Parnell and son-in-law Michael Meek; father Wayne Carraway and mother Dorothy Carraway; brother Duwayne Carraway and sister Myrna Nelson.
