July 10, 1931 - February 24, 2011
A life long resident of Modesto passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011.
She worked in retail sales most of her life. She was a wonderful mother, wife,
grandmother, sister and friend to all. She will be greatly missed.
Betty is survived by her son Larry Owens Jr. and his wife Tammy of Harrison,
Arkansas; granddaughters, Melissa and Mandy Owens; great grandchildren,
Xavier Edwards and Ahmyah Mitchell of Modesto, CA.; sisters, Barbra Hoffman
of Oak City, Oklahoma and Carol Danna of Los Angeles, CA.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lawrence Owens Sr.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1st from 4:00 PM to 8 PM with a
graveside service on Wednesday, March 2nd at 1:00 PM, both to take place at
Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
