Calvin Coolidge Johnson

Calvin passed away at home

on April 20, 2010 at the age of

89. Born in Arnett, Oklahoma

he was the 6th of 7 children. The

family farmed in Oklahoma

until they moved to Colorado in

1936. He was a proud veteran of

WWII who served in the African

and European theaters with the

98th Bomber Group.

Calvin moved to Oregon

where he was married in 1952.

In 1957 he moved his family to

Norwalk, California until they

relocated to Stockton in 1975.

He was a cement finisher until

his retirement in 1982. After

retirement he and his wife

moved to Oregon until their

return to California in 1998.

Calvin enjoyed gardening and

taking long walks but his

greatest joy was spending time

with his grandchildren and

great-grand children.

Calvin will be greatly missed

by all who knew him. He was a

wonderful husband, father,

grandfather, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his wife of

58 years, Eva (Stacy) Johnson,

of Modesto; 3 children, Michael

Johnson (Barbara) of Stockton,

Pat Jenkins of Modesto and

Raye Johnson of Palm Springs;

grandchildren Erica, Farren

(Zack),Tara, Michael, Sheryl,

Presley and Ian; great-grandchildren

Madison, Samantha,

Chevelle and Andrew.

Viewing Sunday April 25,

5-8pm with services on Monday,

April 26, at 1:00pm at

Lakewood Funeral Home in

Hughson.
