Caroline or “Baby Sister” as her siblings called her, relocated with her family from Washington DC to Sacramento, CA when Caroline was just a toddler. Caroline attended Holy Spirit Catholic Elementary School where she met her lifelong friends, Nancy Luck, Karen “Missy” Morebeck, Cecila “Snookie” Mobley, Babs Meredith,Susie Logormasino, and Geraldine Joseph. This gaggle of friends graduated from Bishop Armstrong Catholic High School in 1958.
Following High School Caroline attended California State University, Sacramento until she married her first husband Frank Marek and they had two children Kelly Helen and Timothy James.
In 1969 Caroline met Ron Eneboe, and the two wed in February 1970. They then moved to San Francisco, where Caroline would become an executive of women’s wear for Levi Strauss. In 1971 they welcomed their daughter Katherine Irene “Katie”.
After returning to Modesto in 1976 Caroline began selling business systems for LM Morris and The Warden’s Office. Having found her niche in medical and office interiors she went on to become a Certified Interior Designer and opened Caroline Eneboe Interiors, where she worked until her retirement in 2004.
During her retirement she and Ron enjoyed traveling the world and then the country in their RV, while indulging her favorite murder mystery books. It was the greatest joy for her to take her grandchildren camping.
