Charlene enjoyed cooking and making quilts for her family, as well as traveling to visit them with her spouse J.D. She was a member of the Riverbank Holiness Church in Riverbank, CA.
Charlene is survived by her children David Horton of Alabama, Pamela (Ollie) Tosh of Ceres, Phillip (Vicki) Horton of Oklahoma; three sisters, Imogene, Margorie, and Goldie; as well as, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She and J.D. Horton had been married over 70 years, at his passing in 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law Janice Horton.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home - Riverside Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326.
Funeral Service will be Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM, Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
