Daniel Paul Biggs, age 89, of Ceres passed away at his home on June 8th. He was born in Coweta, Oklahoma on January 19, 1923 to Charlie and Nora Biggs. He was a devoted husband and father, uncle, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife of 60+ years, Betty, son Doug (Debbie), of North Carolina, his daughter-in-law, Ellen Fontaine of Philo, two grandsons, Brock and Brody, three granddaughters, Lauren, Jennie and Jody, one brother Fred (Bert) of Riverside, several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to his niece Caregivers, Judy Price and Lucy Baucum who cared for him at home for the past six months, lovingly. He was honorably discharged from the Army in January 1946. He loved to share stories of his fishing and hunting trips to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. to anyone who would listen. He retired from Flintcoat Genstar Co. to his small farm in Ceres to work on small engine repair. He played on two bowling leagues, Yosemite Lanes, and Modesto Bowl. He was predeceased by his parents, son Danny, two sisters, Lorene Cheary, and Gertie Scott, two brothers, Richard and John, his grandson Conner Douglas Biggs, and great-grandson Benjamin Kraemer.
