and UC Berkeley, where he graduated in 1968. Daniel would go on to earn a teaching credential at CSU Stanislaus in Turlock. He was also a volunteer for the VISTA program, which placed him in El Paso, TX.
For most of his life. Daniel was a musical artist, writing songs, playing piano, and singing. In the mid 1960s, Daniel was a member of the Ratz, a local Modesto band that played with a variety of famous rock acts. Additional hobbies of his included gardening, getting coffee, enjoying the company of rabbits, and spending time at the family ranch.
