

Donna Rae Wiley, 60, of Modesto, Ca. died Friday, March 14, 2014 at Doctors Hospital following complications from pneumonia. Donna lived in Modesto for 17 years. She was born in Hayward, Ca. on March 10, 1954, the daughter of Ruth (Marlene) and Raymond Jennings. Donna married David Wiley on May 15, 1993 in Claremore, Ok. Donna’s passion was to cook for anyone at any time, she so enjoyed it and she was very good at it too. She also loved children, caring for them in Claremore Ok, at her home-based day care, a preschool in Modesto, Ca. and at her church nursery. She was also involved with the church’s outreach food program, Mission Possible, never hesitating to go to all parts of Modesto to give food to the needy. On more than one occasion Donna took off her shoes to give to the homeless. That’s just the type of person she was.
Donna was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend, loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, David Wiley, her daughters Tawnya Oden, Christina Tattershall, and her beloved 6 grandchildren, Jordan, Alexis and Abrianna Tattershall, Austin, Logan, and Gabriela Oden, her mother Ruth (Marlene) Jennings, siblings Karen Barnes, Cheryl Klugel, Raymond Jennings Jr., Jeffrey Morgan, and her much loved dachshund Emily. She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Jennings in 2004.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00AM at Soul Harvest Worship Center 4718 Greenleaf Court, Modesto Ca. 95356
