With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Manzana Bautista, who peacefully passed away at her home in Lathrop, CA, on February 24, 2025. Elizabeth was born on October 23, 1956, in Cardona, Rizal, Philippines, to loving parents, Elisa Teodoro and Eladio Manzana Sr., and lived a life filled with love, kindness, and laughter.
Elizabeth was a devoted wife to Pedro Bautista, a loving mother to Lizette (L-Sizzle), Peter John (PJ), and Joni Jon (JJ), and a cherished grandmother—affectionately known as “Lala”—to her grandchildren Alyssa and Roman. She embraced her role as a grandmother with immense joy, showering them with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
For 35 years, Elizabeth dedicated herself to the United States Postal Service, where she was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and dedication. She was a woman of warmth and humor, bringing joy to all who knew her. Her loving, caring, thoughtful, and funny personality made her unforgettable, and her favorite number, 69, never failed to spark a laugh among family and friends.
Elizabeth’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. Throughout her entire life, Elizabeth always wanted the people around her to be safe and happy, often reminding them in her own special way to "takes cares." While she may be gone, her spirit will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched.
Elizabeth is survived by her siblings, Rodolfo Teodoro Manzana, Rogelio Teodoro Manzana, and Eladio Teodoro Manzana Jr., Estrella Manzana Ramos and Teresita Manzana Alfonso. She also leaves behind countless friends and family members who will forever cherish her memory.
