

Eva Pearl Moring passed away with her family by her side on May 30th, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born on October 6th, 1934 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Glen and Altha Eddy. Her family moved and settled in McFarland, California where she met her lifetime sweetheart Billy Ray Moring. They married on March 1st, 1951 and set up their first home also in McFarland. They then moved to Keyes for 5 years; finally residing in their current home in Ceres, California where Eva devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. Eva was a loving wife, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, not only to her thirteen Grandchildren and twenty-one Great Grandchildren, but to so many more whom she welcomed into their home. Eva loved spending time with her family, attending and supporting her Grandchildren & Great Children's activities, playing cards, dominoes, and board games. She loved life to the fullest. Eva was well known for her gracious generosity and hospitality. She never hesitated to prepare her best meals for any occasion or for anyone visiting their home. Eva was a committed Christian who took her faith seriously. She was a lover of all; a people person who never spoke unkindly about anyone. She will be deeply missed! Eva is preceded in death by her parents Glen and Altha Eddy, and son Rick Moring. Eva is survived by her husband of sixty six years, Bill Moring. Son's Randy (LeeAnn) Moring, Ron (Deb) Moring, Sheri Moring-Souza, Sister Virginia (Bill) Bunch, Niece Lorie (Jeff) Thompson, (13) Grandchildren, (21) Great children, (2) Great Nieces. Private family visitation will be at Lakewood Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 10:00-11:30AM. The service and graveside service will be at Lakewood Cemetery on Tuesday, June 6 at 11:30AM. There will be a celebration of life gathering at the American Legion Hall, 2920 9th St, Ceres, CA 95307 directly after the services.
