Isabel Eileen Schmidt, 92 of Turlock, went Home to be with the Lord, on Monday, July 22, 2013 after a short illness. She was born July 19, 1921 to Manuel and Della Machado in Newman, Ca. In 1941 she married Roy Schmidt also of Gustine. For 43 years they farmed east of Turlock, raising grain and cattle, until Roy's death in 1984. She is survived by, daughters: Pat (Bob) Reher, Shirley Schmidt, and Frances (Mike) McCauley, 2 granddaughters: Andrea Rosales and Teresa (Joel) Johal, great-grandson, Bryan Rosales, sisters: Cecelia Rose and MaryLou Lillemoen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy, parents, brothers: Jim and Manuel Machado, and sister, Della Mello. Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA. 95326, in the Heritage Chapel. Visitation on Wednesday, July 31st from 4-8:00PM. Chapel service on Thursday, August 1st at 10:00AM. Donations can be made in Isabel's honor, to Modesto Community Hospice or a charity of your choice .
