Ismael was born in Merced, Ca and raised in Modesto, Ca where he started his own business and became an active member in his community. Ismael and Mary were married in 1973 and he founded Saldana's Carpet Cleaning Service in 1985 which is still going strong today. Ismael loved being outdoors and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Adela Alonzo and brothers, Eddie Martinez, Pete Lara and Mario Saldana. Survived by his wife, Mary Saldana, sons Isaac (Nina) and Isaiah (Natalie) Saldana, daughter Veronica (Marco) Flores, 10 grandchildren and his dog Olaf.
He was loved by many people and left a mark on every person he encountered. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Lakewood Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled in the Riverside Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home August, 12, 2016 starting at 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday August 13, 2016 in the Riverside Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home starting at 10:00 AM.
