On March 29, 2023, Jeremy Russell Snyder, 43, formerly of Modesto, California passed away in his home in Clarksville, Tennessee. Jeremy is survived by a multitude of family members, among those are his two children Jeremy Jr. and Jordan Snyder, spouse Jennifer Snyder, mother Cheryl Alvarado, brother Eric Snyder (Kelly Snyder), nephews Dylan and Drake Snyder and so many more. Jeremy was born and raised in Modesto and was known for his great sense of humor, competitive spirit, and immense dedication to his loved ones.
After graduating from Downey High School in 1997, Jeremy enlisted in the National Guard. It was during this time that he developed a deep passion for serving his country, which resulted in his involvement in the Army later in life which included a tour in Iraq and another in Afghanistan. Throughout his military career, Jeremy earned 11 medals, four ribbons, two badges, the Valorous Unit Award, and was even honored with a Purple Heart for his bravery in service to his country.
Aside from his love of country, Jeremy had a deep-rooted passion for sports. Whether he was playing, coaching, or watching sports, Jeremy was his happiest on a sports field. Having once been a semi-pro football player in his early adult years, Jeremy enjoyed watching his kids, nephews, and other family members explore their love for sports, especially football, and Baseball. Jeremy could always be found in the bleachers or on the sidelines of any sporting event for his loved ones cheering louder than he did for any other team, well that is except for the San Francisco 49ers, as they were his all-time favorite. As a coach, Jeremy instilled his dedication and drive into his children and other family members and his love for athletics will forever live on in them as they move forward.
To honor the Man, Father, Brother, Uncle, and Countryman that Jeremy Snyder was the Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10:00 am at Lakewood Memorial Park with a reception to follow.
