Johanna Lynn West

Born August 10, 1953 in Wellston, Ohio, her family moved to California in the mid-1950s. They made their final move to Turlock. Johanna enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids, showing them how to bake, taking them out to eat, and shopping. She loved to watch her grandsons play sports and was their biggest cheerleader. Johanna also enjoyed gardening, attending Rock and Gem shows, and shopping at antique stores.

Johanna spent 40 plus years as an L.V.N. in California, predominantly caring for the elderly in assisted living facilities. For the last five years, Johanna has been an administrator of a residential care facility for the elderly called Casa de Luz. Also, she assisted the medical and psychiatric doctors at all Andrade Inc. facilities.

She is survived by her son Brian D. West, three grandchildren, brother John F. West, and nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

Johanna will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who loved her.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 20, at 2pm at Shelter Cove Community Church, and a reception will follow at La Morenita on Coffee Rd. in Modesto.
