John was preceded in death by his father/padre John Almendarez Sr. and his mother/madre Mary Rodriguez Almendarez.

A visitation/velorio for John will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. A mass/misa will occur Monday, July 1, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Saint Frances of Rome Church, 2827 Topeka St, Riverbank, CA 95367. A burial/entierro will occur Monday, July 1, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326.

John will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, CA 95326.

Serving as pallbearers are John Felipe Almendarez, Robert Dominguez, Julian Mendez, Manuel Dominguez and Hector Jimenez.
