Joe passed from this life at the age of 69. Born in Santa Cruz, Flores, Azores
to Raul and Fernanda Armas. Joe passed away peacefully at home surrounded
by his wife, children and grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his mom,
dad and brothers Walter and Tony.
Joe retired from Cast Aluminum & Brass Corp after a 37 year career as a
carpenter/pattern maker. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and just hanging
out with his family.
Joe is survived by his wife Virginia of 49 years, sons Michael, Manuel, Phillip,
daughters Diane Yarbrough and Linda Salcido, 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild,
sisters Alda, Maria, Mary and brothers Armando and Arnold.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 6-7PM, Rosary at 7PM
with the Funeral on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 10AM. All services being held at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, CA.
