Katherine Miller

Katherine Lou (Stroud) Miller, 86, of Oakdale,CA was called home to rest in the arms of the Savior, free from pain and sorrow, rejoicing in the presence of God on December 21, 2025. Born September 19,1939 in Oklahoma. Katherine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose life was defined by her boundless love, laughter and unwavering strength. Katherine dedicated her life to her family and friends creating a nurturing home where everyone felt welcome. She found joy in simple pleasures from tending her flower garden, baking, reading and her greatest delight was spending time with her grandchildren and the many children that called her grandma. Katherine's other joy was attending church. She would spend hours praying for family and friends for salvation, health or other needs. She invited people to church regularly. She helped wherever she could. Providing rides, visiting people in need and preparing meals.

Katherine is survived by her children Pamela (Miller)& (Bart) Harvey, Martin & (Jill) Miller, Anita( Miller) & (Aven) Clinkenbeard and Joseph & (Karyn)Miller. 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Brother Odie Stroud and sister June (Stroud) Newsome. She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband John Martin Miller, her parents Marion Henry Stroud and Ethel (Stroud) Applegate brothers Benny Stroud and Dwight Stroud, sisters Mozzelle (Stroud) Seyler and Jeannie (Stroud)Thompson.

A celebration of Katherine's life will be at Lakewood Memorial Park 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson,CA. There will be a viewing January 5,2026 from 4pm - 8pm. The service will be January 6, 2026 at 10 am. Following the service is a reception at The River Christian Community 1351 E. G St, Oakdale, CA.
