Kimberly Kathleen Sanders

Kimberly Kathleen Sanders, aged 64, passed away from complications of leukemia on June 6, 2024, in Sacramento. She was born on December 22, 1959, in San Francisco to Laurence and Marian Rose. Kim grew up in Hayward, graduating from Sunset High School in 1978. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Chabot College and moved to Modesto, continuing her education to earn her bachelor’s degree in nursing from California State University, Stanislaus. She worked at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Modesto for 34 years as an ICU Nurse. Kim married her husband Ron on August 30, 2003. Together, they shared their Christian faith, a love to travel, a passion for gardening, the San Francisco Giants, and the 49ers.

She is survived by her husband Ron, their two dogs Golda and Hope, her brothers, Michael and Edward, and their families.

Family, friends, and others are invited to the services at Calvary Chapel Oakdale, 220 S. Sierra Ave, Oakdale starting at 10 am on Friday, June 21, 2024, to reminisce and honor Kim’s memory. Burial services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA at 1 pm.
