Kristopher Joseph Wiggs

Kristopher Joseph Wiggs, 41, passed away on Wednesday, September 30th, with his family by his side. He was born on November 8th, 1973 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Ken and Karen Wiggs. Kris grew up in Eagan, Minnesota before moving to Hughson and graduated from Hughson High School in 1992. He attended St. Cloud State University and Stanislaus State University where he received a degree in Geography. He then began work at Enterprise Rent A Car and quickly began his career in Pharmaceuticals. Kris was a district manager for Organon Pharmaceuticals and finally Vice President of Sales for Qforma. Kris married his 8th grade sweetheart, Maryann in October, 1995. They had two children Nicolas and Zachary. Kris enjoyed all sports, especially football and was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. His passion was traveling and he and his wife enjoyed exploring the world together before their children were born. Kris was interested in aviation as a young boy and worked to obtain his pilots license when he was 16 years old. He loved soaring above and made sure he showed his passengers every detail of what was below. He had the gift of gab and would often strike up a conversation with a stranger. It didn’t matter if they spoke a different language, he would always find a way to communicate. He was also a practical joker and always looking for ways to make people laugh. He had an incredibly kind soul and a huge heart. He loved to be with his family and friends and enjoyed being social. Kris will be dearly missed by his family, old friends and new. He touched everyone’s lives in a unique way and we will all cherish our good memories of him.

Kris is survived by his spouse Maryann and sons Nicolas and Zachary of Hughson; his mother and father Karen and Ken Wiggs of Modesto, sister Kari Wiggs and his loving niece and nephew of Modesto, sister Patty Giffen of Federal Dam, MN, and numerous other relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 at 11AM at Lakewood Funeral Home Riverside Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson.
