Laurie Marie Gonzales, age 56, succumbed to her disease and went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her family. Laurie is survived by her husband, Domingo Gonzales; sons, Gabriel (Melissa) Gonzales, Adrian (Christine) Gonzales; grandchildren, Krystal Anderson-Gonzales, Ashley Gonzales, Santiago Gonzales, Angelina Gonzales, Isaiah Gonzales, Elijah Gonzales, and Sabrina Gonzales. She is also survived by several adopted grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way. Laurie was a beautiful woman with a very big heart, she loved the Lord. Her family was her life even after 29 years on dialysis. She loved people and was always willing to help in any way possible, which included opening not only her home, but her heart. The world lost and amazing woman, wife, mother, nana, sister and friend, and Heaven gained and amazing angel.
