Lavon was born in Lovings, Oklahoma to parents Bertha and Robert Tomlin. She moved to California at the age of 17 and married Clyde (Bill) Williams in 1939. They resided for 69 years in the Ceres-Hughson area where Jimmie was a homemaker. For anyone who knew Jimmie they would know her favorite place was her kitchen. Jimmie is survived by her 3 children; Linda (Bob) Fisher of Huhson, Clyde "Butch" and Vivian Williams of Hughson and Jackie (Jimmy) Tomlinson of Denair, CA.; 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Norma Jean Winters of Heavener, OK. and sister-in-law Thelma Tomlin of Sonora, CA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill, her parents and 6 siblings.
Services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in the Heritage Chapel. Visitation (viewing) will be on Sunday, Feb. 26th from 12 PM to 4 PM, with the funeral service on Monday, Feb. 27th at 2:00 PM. Remembrances can be made to your favorite charity .
