Leroy Womack, age 80, passed away in Merced, California
on Sunday, August 29th, 2010. He was born in Indiana to
parents Matthew Womack and Mabel Hill. Leroy was in the
US Army (active) and served from January 30, 1953 until
December 3, 1954, and transferred to the US Army reserves
and was discharged on January 1, 1961. He was employed
as a residential house painter for over 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Martha (Mitchell) Womack
and family.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 4th,
2010 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home (Riverside Chapel),
900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA. The inurnment will follow the
service with military honors. A reception will follow at Riverside
Reception Hall.
