Leslie Eugene Burns was granted his angel wings on Thursday, May 3rd while in the loving arms of his family, who cherished and respected every minute that was shared with him. Gene was born on July 7th, 1930 and started his long and enjoyable career as a farmer at a very young age, most of which was spent managing a large farm in Winton for his good friend, John Ferrari.
Gene lives on through his wife of almost 62 years, Nadean Burns, his 3 sons, Daniel, Rick and Allen and his daughter, Jenice Murdaugh. Gene is also survived by his 2 sisters, Phyllis Waters and Zelma Amptman. He also enjoyed his 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Gene is preceded in death by his daughter, Gail Eldridge.
