Cliff Woody, 83, of Waterford went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 2nd surrounded by his loved ones.
Cliff was born in St. Claire, Missouri to Francis and Beulah Woody. After graduating High School, he enlisted in the Army and served in the Korean War. Cliff worked for Foster Farms for 40 years; retiring in 1989. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, horses and loved building bird houses in his retirement. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends and being up at the Dardanelles.
Cliff is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings Clark Woody, Beatrice King, Leroy Woody and Albert Woody. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Pat Woody and their 3 children Rhonda (Phillip) Henson, Kerry (Jon) Norwood and Rusty (Shelley) Woody, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral Service is Tuesday, November 11th, 2014 at 1:00PM at Lakewood Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made In Cliff’s memory to Alzheimer’s Dementia Support, Inc. 700 McHenry Avenue, Suite B, Modesto,CA 95350.
