Marian L. Santa Cruz

Marian relocated to Oakdale in 1973. She retired from California Department of Corrections in 1992.

Marian enjoyed spending time with her family, specially her grandchildren. She held a special place for all of them in her heart. Marian enjoyed going to casinos to gamble and playing bingo with her sister, Dorothy. When Marian was not playing bingo, she was completing the family genealogy.

Marian is survived by her brother James Fisher, children Pamela Dion (Ray Dion) Ronald Damato; Deanna Gossett (Nate Gossett) and Vicki Santa Cruz. Her eleven grandchildren Mindy, Craig, Alissa, Brock, Lacy, Ronnie, Krystle, Katrina, Nathan, Anthony, Samantha. Marian also leaves behind her fourteen great grandchildren: Meghan, Aidan, Ryder, Reese, Brooklyn, Madison, Paige, Cali, Riley, Lily, Haley, Scarlett, Madden and Kylan.

Marian is preceded in death by her parents William and Evelyn Fisher, her sister Dorothy Willadsen, and granddaughter Katrina Hite.

A funeral service for Marian will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home - Heritage Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326.
